Mary’s Peak and Doug Fir

Shades of Blue2

You will find Mary’s Peak, Black Butte, Mt. Jefferson, and Mt. Hood in many of my paintings. There is a glorious relationship between the mountains and their valleys. I farm in the Willamette Valley in Oregon where the Coastal Mountain range and the Cascade Mountain range form the two walls to this glorious valley. The rich soils, clean and flavorful water, and mild growing climate allow us to grow some of the best fruits and vegetables in the world. Over 220 agricultural crops are grown in this valley, a beauty to behold. This painting is an expression of our dependency and appreciation for wonderful, high quality soils.
